Another year has passed. It has been an eventful year with its fair share of ups and downs. I would ratio it at 50% ups and 50% downs.
Well 2009 beckons and I'm ready for whatever it has in store. Analyst predicts the global credit crunch's impact to be full blown this year. Will see how it goes.
Wish list for 2009 (resolutions is sooo yesterday):
1) Hang on to my job
2) Save more
3) Eat less
4) Less emo
5) Stay healthy
A little poem to kick start my year
I'm surprised how fast last year went by
It seemed to pass in a blink of an eye
At times it felt like a roller coaster ride
Like the waves it rises and fades with the tide
I thank God for the blessings along the way
As I tried to live a simple life day by day
Though at times I would trip and fall
Maybe because I'm quite tall
There are some things I did that made me regret
Words that's being said you can't take back
What is past I'll leave it at that
No point be angry, no point being mad
This year I'll strive to be a better man
to try to be a friend whenever I can
To think and reason before I act
To try to better the things that I lack
So help me God in 2009 I pray
Always give me the right words to say
To live with purpose and great intent
That's how I dream I can be a better man.
